TJ is based in the San Francisco Bay Area where he grew up. His easygoing, serene demeanor is indicative of this fact. He ensures that all of his guests have a relaxing luxury experience and takes the extra time to teach them best practices to make their hair look its best.
Having trained with some of the best in Tokyo and Taipei, he specializes in cutting Asian textured hair. In addition, he started out his career as a NAHA Beacon winner and is internationally published. Now you can see his work in VOGUE ITALIA and campaigns with Cartier Jewelry, Levis, and Kat Von D Beauty.
TJ has received education from Bea Watson (AVEDA styling director), Sally Rogerson (Once Vidal Sassoon creative director), Allilon (Davines artistic team), Shannon King (Ergo artistic director), ION Studios NYC (Davines styling flagship), Kevin Luchmun (Global men's cutting specialist/Toni & Guy), and many more.
